We are extremely pleased to announce the addition of a new fishing area for us, the now world famous, Lake Thingvellir. The lake is famous for enormous brown trout and four varieties of Arctic char in amazing natural setting and landscape. The lake is very big and to be successful you have to know what you are doing and where you should go. So up until now we've not had guides that know the lake well enough for us to offer trips there. This has changed and now we are proud to announce that we have started a co-operation with one of the most successful trophy trout hunters in Iceland who will be your guide while fishing on Lake Thingvellir.
This guy really knows his stuff and has countless brown trout over 10 pounds landed from the lake and several over 20 pounds. Yup - that is right, several over 20 pounds. A common trout to catch in the lake is from 6 - 10 pounds and the chances of catching a double figure fish are quite high with the chance of catching brown trout over 20 pounds, all natural, all wild, all Ice Age Brown trout.
