Busy days

Written by Stjani. Posted in News.

Nick tungu smallRecently we have been extremely busy working on enquiries as well as planning the annual RISE Fly fishing film festival in Reykjavik that we are hosting in March. Not only that but we've been working on putting together some new packaged fishing holidays to offer. Already we've got dates chasing fresh big salmon on Vatnsdalsa in early July, chasing salmon and sea trout on Vatnsdalsa in late September as well as August fishing on Vatnsdalsa chasing salmon.

I know I promised some more news sooner but due to the incredible interest in fishing in Iceland in the new year I've had my hands full answering e-mails and working on arranging fishing holidays. But that is no excuse and now I'm working on getting a newsletter together to send to all our subscribers. I'll also write a news story here about it and post it on Twitter and Facebook. So if you are interested in stayin updated about fishing in Iceland please subscribe to our newsletter, follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook.

Only two and a half month until the fishing season starts in Iceland. Can't wait.

Happy 2014

So now it's finally 2014 and we hope you had a great time on New Years Eve. We sure did as well as most of Icelanders. Check out this video that shows the madness that goes on in Iceland on New Years Eve at midnight.

Iceland New Years Eve

We are back at the office and back into action planning fishing trips in Iceland. Over the holidays we recieved many enquiries that we are now working through and once that work is done we will present some new packaged trips and go over available fishing in 2014. We will then do a special presentation of salmon options for September. More on that later.
